Question: Does a husband & wife in the state of Texas have to be on a Deed of Trust if the wife is trying to buy propert
to buy property in her name only?
Answer: Depending on the property and her credit she may be able to have just her name on it.
If it is the house they live in, there is something you have to remember when you sell. Even if she owns it separately he will have to sign away his right to live there before they can transfer title.
