Question: How do I stop trust member from selling property before probate court can act?

My dad recently passed away and he was 1/3 owner of a trust set up by his mother to protect two parcels of acreage from ever being sold. When we contacted the brother and sister (the other two names on the trust), they indicated that they were going to sell the property and they had my dad sign a power of attorney a few months ago when he first became ill.
I realize that the power of attorney they had is now invalid- BUT, how do I contact the proper courts (I know deed #'s lot #'s, courthouse locations, etc.) to stop any sale of this property until I can obtain copies of the trust to understand what my rights are. I would think the faster I contact them with the fact of his death, that would at least insure I am involved in any pending sale. Also- one of the propertys is being sold BELOW tax value to one of the 1/3 parties.. which sure sounds like a scam to me!! I just want to know WHAT to file and with WHO? Most docs do not address this that I've found. Thanks so much !!

Answer: Hire an attorney to file an injunction to protect the assets of the trust.

Unfortunately, many people attempt to do things themselves, or wait too long.

Pay the extra bucks and hire a professional to assist ou.

Question: what do u do when your friend has an std.and isn't telling anyone?

my friend was involved in a 1 and half year relationship during which she was in alot of uncomfortable situations,from her boyfriend.
well he became more abusive and cheated on her, so she got on some web sites and met different people and went out with them and did the deed. right before they broke up she had herself tested for stds. and we thought everything was okay. now four wks. later,she got her herpes tests back as positive. and is totally blaming ex-boyfriend. and hasn't mentioned once letting anyone else know. and the men she did it with are still on those websites meeting people!! shes showed me two. I mean What can i do to be there for her.i love her and wev'e been like sisters for three years,but now i don't feel i can trust her. i want her to be responsible. but she seems terrified to even talk about the disease.i personally am in the process of trying to meet people through the internet,now i'm terrified.

Answer: Wow, if your friend wants a first class ticket to hell, she's certainly going about it the right way! Seriously, it sounds like your friend needs counseling to deal with her issues first. Tell your friend to seek out a herpes support group in your area, or talk to her doctor about help. Through some support, she can learn to be an adult about this disease, and although it's hard, to tell her partners before having sex. She needs to grow up, because her life has now changed forever. When she's 80, she's still going to have this disease.
