Deed Of Trust Satisfaction

Question: Why do people believe in karma, when it makes absolutely no sense?
Is it because they long for a world with automatic justice?
Wouldn't karmic laws require some divine entity to administer and enforce the laws?
Commonsense & life experience tells you that doing good deeds reaps rewards in many ways (self satisfaction, people putting trust in you, help when YOU need it, etc.) , and that people who do bad things invariably miss out on many of the better things that life has to offer (enjoying trust, recieving help when down, etc) .
Is it that some people need to be enticed with a carrot and threatened with a stick to ensure they try to make a worthwhile contribution to life?
Isn't it absurd to suggest someone will be rewarded or punished in "their next life" for deeds carried out in this one?
typicalnotme..........I used to think karma was a great idea, but then reincarnation never made sense at all. The more I ponder it, the less reasonable it seems. I know many people who just accept it as reality, but I just can't.
Answer: I don't know if i actually believe in Karma... BUT it's sure as hell fun when you see some nasty jerk fall on their face after they have done something wrong ..
Maybe karma isn't the right word .. DOWN RIGHT FUNNY is
