Question: just bought property and its recorded as TDAR - Deed of Trust & ASSIGNMENT OF RENT, why its like that?
I just bought this property in San Jose,CA, i have FHA 30yr fixed loan, why in county recorder there is assignment of rent?
what does that mean?
i never sign any paperwork that has keyword rent,btw this is foreclosure home
i bought this as my living place, i didnt rent it, nor any tenants is there, and yes this is my first time homebuyer, hence FHA works for me, so why there is assignment of rent?
Answer: At some point it the housing authority was involved, they literally assign how much rent you can charge in the event that you rent to a section 8 tenant.
Are you sure one isn't in it right now?
