Question: Trust Deed vs. Mortgage? Where can I find a list of the system used by each of the 50 states in the US?

This seems like a pretty straightforward thing... Each state is either a Trust Deed state or a mortgage state, but after a bit of searching I’ve had no luck in finding the list.

Question: can a person contest a revokable trust?

a person buys another person a house cash. that cash was from the sale of that persons home which was in a trust for other people. the cash was wired to the recipient of the new home and now they have the title in their names. can anyone contest this and try to get back the money that would have gone to them if this transaction did not occur. bottom line is a deed, title something that cannot be broken?

Answer: Unless you have some written agreement regarding the money you wired to this person, you're probably up the creek.
