Question: what is my job title? seriously please help!?
I work for an electronic residential mortgage document ordering loan company. I think what I do is call data analyst or business analyst but not sure. Here is what I do. I map data such as borrowers name, property address, loan amount, interest rate and anything that has to do with mortgage loan into the word document itself using xml spy and I believe dos application. Example on a Deed of Trust(DOT) or a Mortgage document, where all the infomation that would be type in or fill in by the lender, borrower, title company and etc. would actually be fill in through what I did using xml spy and dos application. Does this make sense? I am just not sure if they are other jobs like this.
please help.

Question: The new Inheritance tax changes?
I live in Canda, my mother lives in England.
My father passed away Aug 31 this year
The house was left as tenants in common, but the will left his share to mom. I am trying to help my mom and am trying to get myself upto speed asap. my question...
My understanding is that if my mother completes a deed of variation, she can avoid taking ownership of the house (however hold a lifetime interest in the house). This will move the ownership, and IHT requirement over to the children at their dispostion or death.
However, when I completed the IHT 205 form for her, I claimed an exemption under point 17. Which I understood would use dads 300,000 pound exemption. is this correct?
If I need help the only place she trusts is her bank (Lloyds) do you know if they offer a service that would assist in this or do I have to go to a soliciter?
Answer: Following the changes announced this week by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, it is now possible to use Dad's £300,000 exemption automatically, and without entering into a deed of variation. There is therefore no TAX reason to take any action. However, if you are worried that mum might remarry and leave it all to someone else, a deed of variation would be worth considering.
